Christian formation

Christ the Redeemer is a hospitable and nurturing community where Christ leads us in obedient fellowship with God and one another.

Christian Formation runs for an hour each Sunday, September to June. Children 3–12 are learning from the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. During the 10:30 AM service, children ages 6 and up participate in a children’s service called Christ's Lambs Liturgy of the Word. They rejoin the service for Holy Communion.

Father Barry, with lay assistance, runs CTR's Youth Ministry, which seeks to create a safe haven for students from grades 6 to 12. Vacation Bible School runs during the summer in cooperation with neighboring churches.

Adult Christian Formation covers a variety of topics and is designed and taught by people with special competencies. Its goal is to produce biblically literate Christians who are knowledgeable about and able to share their faith.
