Our place in the Anglican Communion

Anglican Diocese of New England

Christ the Redeemer is a church in the Anglican Diocese in New England (ADNE). Under the leadership of Bishop William Murdoch, we are a united, biblical missionary movement of Anglicans in fellowship with global Anglicanism. We seek to make disciples who make disciples of Jesus Christ and plant churches that plant churches in New England. We will also work with other believers to plant churches in the United States and to the ends of the earth.

ADNE is a united Anglican movement in New England seeking to exhibit such irresistible spiritual power in Word and Sacrament that people are drawn to a personal relationship with God in Jesus Christ and become members of the Body of Christ, His Church. ADNE seeks to be known for its commitment to an evangelical, charismatic faith, and catholic order. Our heart is that all in New England would come to know Jesus Christ, and be committed to His words..."Love the Lord your God with all your heart... all your soul... all your strength... with all your mind and your neighbor as yourself."

Anglican Church in North America

The Anglican Diocese of New England (ADNE) is a diocese of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) and the worldwide Anglican Communion. ACNA is an orthodox Anglican Province in North America that remains connected to a faithful global Communion under Archbishop Robert Duncan.

ACNA was initiated at the request of the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCon) in June 2008 and formally recognized by the GAFCon Primates—leaders of Anglican Churches representing 70 percent of the active Anglicans globally—on April 16, 2009 after a thorough examination of the Anglican Church's leadership, organizational structure, and proposed constitution and canons.
