The 6:15 PM service on Saturday is for those who enjoy a smaller, more intimate time of worship. Here you can sing contemporary praise music in a “come as you are” informal atmosphere (contemplative prelude music starts at 6:00). The service is informal, yet reverent; contemporary, yet ancient; passionate, yet contemplative. It provides an opportunity to explore Anglican style liturgy emphasizing the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, and partake of the Holy Eucharist (the Lord’s Supper).
It is a good place to comfortably practice this kind of worship. We learn about God and the Scriptures through short talks or sermons. Plan to join others afterwards for a simple soup supper provided by CTR (September to May). All are welcome to this time of rest, reflection and refreshment with God and his people.
On the third Saturday of each month we have a healing service instead.
